King of the Hill Shootout this Saturday
Dig out your long johns and cold-weather gloves. It looks like perfect King of the Hill weather for this Saturday's season-ending tournament at Princeton Golf Course. The forecast is calling for a high of 49--plenty warm for the hearty souls of the Northland.

For the uninitiated, the King of the Hill Shootout is like the kids' game it's named for. All players play the front nine in foursomes. After nine holes the field is cut to the low ten net scores. Those ten tee off in one group on the back nine. Each hole the high score gets "pushed" off the hill until only the champion is standing triumphantly on the 18th green. Ties are settled by chip-off on each hole.

Time: Tee times beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Format: Individual handicap medal play
Cost: $20 per player
Prizes: Prize pool taken from tournament fees
