Not a minute too soon!
Oh the weather outside's.....
Yes, folks, it's here at last! Spring is bursting forth just in time for the PGC inaugural event--King of the Hill!!
King of the Hill is fast becoming a PGC favorite. In case you spent last season in Swaziland and don't know how it works, here's the scoop:
Everybody tees off on the front and plays nine holes. After the first nine the field is cut to the low 10 players. Those 10 head out on the back nine, eliminating the high scorer on each hole. For those who are mathematically challenged, that means that eight players bite the dust through #17, leaving only two to battle it out on 18 for the coveted title of KING OF THE HILL!!!
But wait! But wait! What if there are two or three or four players with the high score on a hole?? No problem. We determine the loser in a chipoff. Survive the chipoff and live to fight another hole!
This is a handicap event, so all you sandbaggers are welcome!! :)
Tee time is 10 a.m. sharp next Saturday, April 21st. It's a shotgun start, but you can leave your 10-gauge at home. Murph will do the honors!
