Grand Opening Tournament Spots Filling Up
Spots for the Grand Opening scramble tournament are filling up. The tournament is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start.
If you haven't signed up, now's the time to jump in. Space is limited. Sign up individually, or as a four-player team. Cost is just $35 per player, including riding cart.
Grand Opening day promises to be very hectic, so we're asking players to pay the registration fee by Wednesday, July 23.
Sign up and pay your fee in the Pro Shop.
Family Fun at the Grand Opening
Bring the kids out to the Grand Opening and let them enjoy face-painting, a petting zoo, a bounce house, and more. Treat them (and yourself) to hot dogs, brats, and hamburgers for only $2. It will be a day of fun for the whole family.
After dark the grown-ups can test their skills at night golf activities with luminescent golf balls. As if the game weren't challenging enough in broad daylight!
Aces Wild!
Congratulations to Jim Skarohlid on his hole-in-one during the Elim Home scramble tournament on July 11. Jim's timing and location could not have been better: He took home a Pontiac Solstice for his ace on hole #5 courtesy of GM and Princeton Auto Center.
Jim joins a veritable avalanche of aces at PGC this year. Three days earlier Jim Groebner jarred his tee shot on #14. Gil Ulstad aced the same hole on June 23. And Patty Lundgren got the ball rolling in April with her hole-in-one on #16. No cars for the other three, but hearty congratulations just the same.
Your next chance to win a car will be at the Grand Opening July 25.
