This Time We Really Mean It!
Mother Nature gave us a head fake last week, then blew our weekend away with her last big snow dump of the year. But the snow is going...going...gone, and we're ready to open up for the new season. The weather looks fabulous through the weekend. This is a great opportunity to make up for lost rounds.
Call 763-389-5109 to reserve your tee time, or just come on out.
Leagues in Full Swing
The Tuesday and Thursday Men's Leagues are rockin' and rollin'. Tuesday League Fun-Nighters had to dodge a couple of snow traps and lean into the wind, but the thrill of just being out there was rich compensation.
The Thursday 18-hole league will launch its regular schedule on the 17th. The late 9-hole league is having its Fun Night beginning at 5:00 p.m. There's still time to sign up. Call the Pro Shop to get on the list.
Rave Reviews for the Main Course
The Main Course Bar & Grill put on a dress rehearsal last week and garnered high praise from all diners for the excellent food. Guests chose from a sample menu featuring steaks, smothered chicken, and Carroll's Greek Pasta, among other savory dishes. The Main Course is opening with its full menu on Thursday. Come out for dinner, or for the Sunday Brunch. We recommend you call for a reservation. 763-389-2006.
Wergin Wins Princeton Expo Contest
Congratulations to Richard Wergin, the winner of our guessing contest at the Princeton Business Expo last Saturday. Entrants had to guess the number of white tees in a huge jar of multi-colored tees. Richard guessed 1150, the closest guess to the actual number: 1168. Richard's reward is a $50 gift certificate.
For the statistically minded, of the 108 entries, 84 guessed low and 24 guessed high. Guesses ranged from 78 on the low end to 16,396 on the high end. When people said they had no idea, they really meant it.
