Congratulations on the McGladrey Team Championship WInners
The team of Pat Brogan, Al Warzecha, and Greg Butler fired a net 61 to take first place in the qualifying round of the PGA McGladrey Team Championship at PGC. The winning team mosed out the team of Mark Braaten, Brett Nelson, and Joe Schwartz by on stroke! The Don Koski-John Gloege-Dave Bue team shared third place with the team of Jordan Lingman, Bob Winkleman, and Chris Prosser. Both teams shot net 63 for the event.

The winning team moves on to the Minnesota Section Championship to be played at Medina Golf & Country Club on August 13. They will be joined by head pro Tim Murphy in that round. The winner of the Minnesota Section Championship will play in the National Championship slated for September 10-12 at Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina!!

Congratulations Pat, Al, & Greg!! Good luch at the Section Championship!!

Club Championship Time Approaches
August is upon us, and it's time again for our annual Club Championship tournaments. Junior and Senior Club Championships are scheduled for Sunday, August 5. Junior Championship tee times will begin at 9am, followed by the Seniors at approximately 10 am.

The Junior Championship has four divisions: Girls 13-15 and 16-18: Boys 13-15 and 16-18. Players younger than 13 may participate by special request. Parents who are interested in having younger children play should talk to Tim Murphy or Doug Dahl. Young players need not be members of the club to participate in the Championship.

Entry fee for the Junior Championship is $10.

The Senior Championship is open to players over 50 years of age. Players holding any form of PGC membership are eligible. This includes unlimited play, patron, 20 and 40 round packages, and $12 memberships. There will be divisions for men and women, and also Super Seniors for men and women over the age of 62.

Entry fee for the Senior Championship is $20.

The PGC Club Championship will be the following weekend, August 11-12. Scratch Division will consist of 36 holes over two days. Handicap Division will be 18 holes on Sunday, August 12. Eligibility requirements are the same as for the Senior Championship.

Tee times will begin at approximately 10 am each day.

Entry fee for the club championship is $25.

ALL ENTRY FEES WILL BE USED FOR PRIZES.
